It is essential that our community comes together to discuss the challenges that we face in order to ascertain what solutions can be employed to continue our growth.

The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) said “Seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave.” In this pursuit, we realize that reading books is part and parcel to our personal development.

The research center’s focus is to inform decision making for the Foundation, its network of centers and organizations, and the Shia Muslim public at large through data driven research.

Our goal is to hold dedicated surveys to assess and understand public opinion within the Shi’a American community. These surveys help provide a pulse of what is going on in the community and what its members feel regarding particular relevant issues.

The Foundation has regularly held summits or conferences as forums for thought leaders to convene and discuss some of the most pertinent subjects to the present state and future of the community.

The (SHP) is a research and outreach program of the Mainstay Foundation centered on surveying the center leadership within the national network of Shi’a American centers and organizations across the continental United States.
