Syed Mesum Ali
Syed Mesum Ali is a General Partner at EAI Investments, where he leads investments in high-growth technology companies and provides access to alternative assets beyond traditional venture, such as private credit.
Over the past eight years, Mesum has overseen investments in more than 20 top-tier, venture-backed companies, including industry leaders like Lyft, SpaceX, Anthropic, Perplexity, and Stripe. His expertise in venture capital and alternative assets drives EAI’s mission to support the next generation of transformative companies.
Ahmed Abdel-Saheb
Ahmed received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Marketing from the University of Maryland. Ahmed is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Ahmed joined Signal Hill in 2024 and led the formation of Signal Hill’s Washington D.C. office. Prior to Signal Hill, Ahmed was a Partner at Godspeed Capital a private equity investment firm focused on organic and acquisition growth strategies in the lower middle-market government services and Architecture, Engineering, and Consulting (“AEC”) space. While at Godspeed Ahmed was responsible for the origination, evaluation, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of investment opportunities. Prior to joining Godspeed Capital, Ahmed was an investment banking Vice President at Greenhill & Co., focused on providing M&A and corporate financial advisory services to the industrial and technology sector.
Ahmad Ramadan
Ahmad Ramadan is a seasoned professional in government relations and public administration, with extensive experience in procurement, legislative affairs, coalition building, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to his role at the MoveAmerica APEX Accelerator, Ahmad served in the Biden Administration at the White House and U.S. Department of Labor. In his role with the White House Infrastructure Implementation Team, he enhanced communication with state officials, managed significant budgets, and ensured equitable engagement strategies. At the U.S. Department of Labor, he coordinated federal interagency working groups, managed immigration casework portfolios, and facilitated partnerships between businesses and the government. He also played a key role in promoting workforce training programs and supporting small businesses that employ individuals with disabilities.
Throughout his career, Ahmad Ramadan has demonstrated a strong commitment to fostering partnerships and advancing policy initiatives. As the Deputy Coalitions Director for the Biden for President campaign in Michigan, Ahmad successfully mobilized community leaders and volunteers, leading to record voter turnout in the Arab and Muslim American communities.
Faye Nemer
Faye Nemer is a proven finance leader with global expertise developed through experience in Fortune 20 companies including Ford Motor Company and Stellantis. Nemer’s corporate finance experience spans the spectrum of treasury, FP&A, M&A, foreign currency exchange, accounting, and end-to-end ERP system implementation.
Nemer has served as a CFO of an early stage tech startup and is a CEO of a B2B CFO consulting firm making her adept in daily interactions with fellow C-Suite in strategic planning and long-term decision-making. She leverages her expertise by building and developing world-class teams and establishing strong cross-functional relationships that deliver results while earning trust and credibility. Nemer is a dedicated community advocate and currently serves as the CEO and Founder of the MENA American Chamber of Commerce where she works on fostering economic ties between the US and the MENA region.
In her personal time, Nemer serves as an ISPU Board Member, Dearborn Community Council Finance Chair, ICA Finance Chair, Fordson High School PTSA President, and is a mother to a freshman college student.
Mr. Habib Nasibdar
Mr. Habib Nasibdar is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mindcubed. Over the course of Mr. Habib Nasibdar’s professional career, spanning a distinctive array of cross-organizational and cross-cultural perspectives, he has developed the conviction that three states of mind (curious, creative, and inspired) are essential to consistently delivering service excellence and transformational innovation. He founded Mindcubed to harness the combined power of these attributes to understand, reimagine, and master customers’ complex business challenges.
An avid technology enthusiast, Mr. Habib Nasibdar began his career as a software engineer, writing C++ code for stock trading platforms. Subsequently, he held increasingly responsible roles in service delivery, business development, and business strategy, working primarily with small companies to improve their corporate posture and contribute significantly to their growth. Mr. Habib Nasibdar also collaborated internationally at the United States Chamber of Commerce, working to team small businesses in America and Singapore, to promote increased trade between those two countries.
Throughout his career, Mr. Habib Nasibdar has been privileged to deploy as well as to lead the deployment of numerous complex, enterprise-wide systems. Previously, Mr. Habib Nasibdar led the post-9/11 implementation of the District of Columbia’s award-winning public safety JUSTIS (Justice Information Sharing) program. In that capacity, Mr. Habib Nasibdar coordinated teams and stakeholders from more than 20 federal and city agencies and executed integrations between JUSTIS and over 70 other information systems—ensuring real-time communications between systems critical to constituent safety and rapid government response in the nation’s capital.
Mr. Habib Nasibdar is an active member of technology-focused nonprofit organizations including the American Council of Technology-Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC). At ACT-IAC, Mr. Habib Nasibdar served as the Chair of Cloud Computing Cross-Shared Interest Task Group. In this capacity, he collaborated and coordinated with large and small businesses to deliver tangible solutions on cloud adoption to the federal government. Mr. Habib Nasibdar was awarded the ACT-IAC “Rookie of the Year” in 2010 for his efforts to drive collaboration between industry and the federal government. Mr. Habib Nasibdar is also a co-author and contributor to technical papers and a frequent speaker at several industry and government events on information sharing and cloud computing. He has been quoted in the press as an industry thought leader and has participated in media as a technology subject-matter expert.
Mr. Kumail Zaidi
Mr. Kumail Zaidi has more than two decades of leadership experience with a focus on driving sales, enhancing development and streamlining operations through the use of data and technology. Prior to joining System Pavers, he was the CEO of Frontpoint Security, where he more than doubled the company’s growth and profitability. Syed also founded and ran Doublepositive, a marketing company that was sold to a strategic partner after 10+ years of successful growth. He’s an alum of University of Maryland, where he earned both a BS and an MBA.
Mrs. Sarah Naqvi
Mrs. Sarah Naqvi has over 30 years of experience as a successful IT executive. Sarah is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at LivCor, a Blackstone Portfolio Company. Prior to this, they worked at HMSHost for ten years, holding the position of Executive Vice President / Chief Information Officer. In this role, they were responsible for driving business transformation through technology and overseeing the North American business technology footprint. Sarah has also held various leadership positions at HMSHost, including Vice President of Application Development and Senior Director of PeopleSoft Applications. Sarah’s early career includes roles at Bell Atlantic and GE Information Service as a Project Manager and Programmer Analyst, respectively.
Mrs. Sarah Naqvi completed their Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Communication from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2013 to 2015. Sarah then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university from 2019 to 2021. Sarah also completed an additional MBA program in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2020 to 2021.
