What is Idara 2050?

Idara 2050 is a comprehensive Strategic Plan, ensuring a sustainable and thriving future for the community. This initiative aims to create a long-term roadmap that strengthens leadership, enhances community services, and fosters financial stability while staying rooted in 12er Shia Islamic values and traditions.

Why Idara2050?

To establish Idara-e-Jaferia as a model Islamic center that fosters religious, spiritual, educational, and social development while adapting to the evolving needs of the American 12er Shia Muslim community.
By 2050, Idara will be a self-sustaining institution with strong leadership, robust programs, and deep community engagement, serving as a beacon of faith and service in the region.

How do we do it?

Our mission is to craft a strategic framework that ensures the long-term growth and resilience of Idara-e-Jaferia.
Through community-driven planning, data-driven decision-making, and inclusive stakeholder engagement, we will develop a roadmap that strengthens religious education, social services, youth empowerment, and financial sustainability, ensuring that Idara remains a thriving institution for generations to come.

Phase 1: Planning & Preparation

(March – Month of Ramadan)

  • Initial strategy discussions

Phase 2: Data Collection

(April – June)

  • Conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups
  • Gather insights from the community, leadership, and donors

Phase 3: Data Analysis & Strategy Drafting

  • Analyze collected data
  • Identify key challenges and opportunities
  • Develop strategic pillars

Phase 4: Validation & Review

(August – September)

  • Present strategy draft to key stakeholders
  • Incorporate feedback and finalize the plan

Phase 5: Community Presentation

(October 5th, 2025)

  • Officially share the finalized strategy with the community
